YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE
IN THE LIFE
OF ONE Community TODAY
VICINITY TARGETS INVESTMENTS
Vicinity targets ordinary people to discover and learn how to find balance between work & rest. This discovery begins from within and it is experimentally applied to every aspect of one’s life until it becomes lifestyle. This same dynamic is beneficial to a community where fear, isolation and division are destroyed through quality relationships that encourage opportunities to leaders and increase civic participation. The result is catalytic and economic opportunities are generated and more innovations are discovered.
We are an enthusiastic team of Adventure Capitalists who believe that being a part of a positive and nurturing community is the lynchpin of a happy and productive person. The key is to allow time for rest which is “something other than work.” Better rest. Better work. Better community.
Vicinity serves as an incubator of both people and their ideas. I, and others, help individuals and groups to understand what their full potential is. We validate what they feel and where they are in their lives and help them to grow out of their rest.
Vicinity provides dynamic personal coaching, consulting for business and community building, meeting facilitation, and restful pursuits (e.g., kayaking, boating, and hiking). We have a wide variety of services and activities for your involvement, tailored to what will best incubate your ideas and goals. Vicinity has experience in business, family sports, education, government, music, arts, faith-based organizations, and charities. By developing a balance between work and rest, meaningful and beneficial relationships become routine. Dreams become reality.
REST 4 SUCCESS MODEL
This “Rest 4 Success” model is countercultural but intuitively correct. Only when we begin to address an individual’s core issues can we build community from the inside out: What matters to you at this moment? Why is that important right now? What crossroads are you facing at this moment? We are interested in the needs that go largely unspoken. These needs can only be identified and satisfied when once is in a state of rest.
